Bahrain - Victorious reportedly reach agreement with Uno-X rider Torstein Træen

With the cycling transfer window now open, rumours are circulating that Bahrain - Victorious and the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team rider Torstein Traeen have come to an agreement over the future of the 28-year-old Norwegian.

This is reported by the Norwegian Landevei and after the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team have announced the signing of both Magnus Cort Nielsen and Andreas Leknessund already on August 1st, the possibility of spaces needing to be made within the squad is a quite realistic one.

The 28-year-old is set to sign a two-year deal with Bahrain Victorious. Traeen has had a rollercoaster few years both on and off the bike, being diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2022 before thankfully making a full recovery and returning to the peloton.

Having completed his first Grand Tour at the recent Tour de France, Traeen has also impressed with a top-10 finish in the general classification of the Critérium du Dauphine and at the Tour of the Alps.
