Lotto Dstny's Arnaud De Lie has emerged victorious at the Circuit Franco Belge, punching to victory from a reduced bunch in the finale.
After an original breakaway of four riders was caught quite early on, heading into the final 30km with no one off the front of the race, time was running out for the punchier riders to make the most of the rises in the road.
As the pace continued to be very high though, more and more riders were struggling and as the race entered the final 5km, a 15-rider group had stretched clear with the likes of Corbin Strong, Arnaud De Lie and Biniam Girmay all involved. In the final kick up to the line it was De Lie who took the win ahead of Rasmus Tiller and Strong in third.
