Italy has won the European title in the mixed relay team time trial at the 2024 European Championships in Limburg, giving Edoardo Affini his second gold medal in as many days.
One of the more unique disciplines on the European Championship programme, the mixed relay team time-trial sees the times of three women and three men combined. This year, just six nations competed. Those being, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Germany.
In the end, gold went to the Italians, silver to the Germans and bronze to the Belgians. Alongside Affini in the Italian team ere Mattia Cattaneo, Mirco Maestri, Elena Cecchini, Vittoria Guazzini and Gaia Masetti.
