Andrea Bagioli victorious on stage 3 of the Tour of Slovakia as Soudal - Quick-Step take third straight stage wins

Stage 3 of the 2023 Tour of Slovakia has been won by Andrea Bagioli in a sprint to the line from an elite group.
After the breakaway were caught 13km from the finish line, Jumbo-Visma's Milan Vader attacked on the final categorised climb of the day and was quickly followed by the likes of Soudal - Quick-Step duo Andrea Bagioli and Remi Cavagna.
In the final sprint to the line it was a third straight stage win for Soudal - Quick-Step as Bagioli powered to the line ahead of Michele Gazzoli and Stefan Kung.

santiagobenites31-05-2025 - I bet that nobody saw that coming. That was a beautiful redemption ride from Simon Yates today, and a very clever one as well. He's dosed his efforts nicely during this entire Giro, and managed to exploit the stalemate between del Toro and Carapaz exactly the right time.
