After rowing, skiing and biathlon; American Paralympic athlete Oksana Masters switches to cycling and conquers another gold medal

Oksana Masters was born in Ukraine and due to the proximity to the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster; she was born with several physical issues in her body. However, the now-American athlete has become one of America's leading figures in sports and has been thriving at the Paralympic Games, taking medals in several sports over the past few years and now a gold medal in cycling.
A former rower, skier and biathlete; Masters has been able to transform her exceptional talent at sports to cycling as well. She made the switch only in recent years and has already become one of the most successful in the discipline. In 2020 she conquered the gold medal in both Road Race H5 and Road Time-trial H4-5; and this week she once again rode into a medal in the Time-Trial event; consolidating herself as one of the most successful Paralympic athletes of all time and bringing cycling to the spotlight once again.

- Pointless reporting. They are rivals, each tries their way to get their best result, with or without collaboration. As long as it’s all fair, why even report riders feelings about such stuff (yes I know, lack of other news). Anyone riding races will go through dozens of moments per race where they get emotional about the way someone else rides or takes advantage or doesn’t collaborate or more, it is natural, it is justified, it is NOT newsworthy!Mistermaumau17-11-2024
