As the
Giro d'Italia enters its final week, a lot has already been raced. Throughout the opening two weeks of the race - and 15 stages - there have been a few teams that stood out against the rest, and they differences in money earned are large.
The undisputed leader remains Lidl-Trek, which continues to add stages and has seen its prize money reach six figures, leaving the second-placed team, the almighty UAE Team Emirates - XRG almost 40,000 euros behind. Team Visma | Lease a Bike follows the Emirati team closely, closing out the podium with around 63,000 euros won.
At the bottom of the table are Intermarché - Wanty, who only amassed around 5,000 euros, joined by teams such as Arkéa - B&B Hotels (7703 euros), Team Jayco AlUla (8683 euros), Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team (9513 euros) and Groupama - FDJ (9531 euros), who have yet to reach five figures in prize money.
