Jumbo-Visma's Tobias Foss will not be at the start line of today's Queen stage of the Tour de Romandie an official announcement by the team has revealed.
The time-trial world champion, Foss was sitting nicely in 3rd in the general classification, just 19 seconds down on the race leader, UAE Team Emirates's Juan Ayuso. Foss's Jumbo-Visma teammate, Robert Gesink has also withdrawn from the Tour de Romandie the official announcement reveals.
"Tobias Foss and Robert Gesink had minor health issues this morning," the post reads. "Both will not take any risks towards the Giro d'Italia and take their time to recover. They will not start in today’s queen stage in the Tour De Romandie."
