- 'i was RIGHTLY angry' ... the dumbass remco thinks that he can judge himself. what a jerk. if he would be professional, he would blow out his anger in the team bus, but not to the media. and if his team leaders would be professional, they would tell him to shut the f**k up. however, who said that he is professional?
- Jonas is in the same situation as 2025. If misfortune befalls Pogi he can win. Otherwise he is a strong second behind the world's greatest road cyclist
- Maybe Vingegaard will declare again in 2027 that he is back to his best level, just like before Hautacam 2025 and Tourmalet 2026. I'm really curious which legendary mountain ASO will design for 2027 where Jonas will be only 2 minutes behind.
Today Vingegaard learned what that legendary phrase means when someone "gets too close to the sun,"... they usually get burned.
He imagined that he is the☀️ but Giro knows how to trick a person's psyche. Vini,Vini, today you learned the hard way.
- Settling into a familiar pattern. Pogi in a class of his own. Jonas solidly the best of the rest, and then a bunch of podium contenders. The podium contenders though look stronger than ever this year - Seixas, IDT, Remco, Florian, Ayuso
- Toro is Bull...
- Bull is del Toro...
- What is Toro?
;)
- Who's Bull
- Jonas managed to keep the gap to Pog at under 40 seconds for a long way down the descent. So Pog seemed to be simply more consistent in the long run.
The chasing group also started getting closer to Jonas. I was wondering if they might all have closed the gap significantly if Kuss had pulled the chasers close to Jonas and Jonas had helped them on the last climb before pulling away again.
- There is nothing more predictable than Evenepoel losing his shit in the chase.
He'll try to milk this "Lipowitz is my leadout" narrative till he gets dropped in week 3.
