I agree 100 percent visma is a terrible fit. He is needs a team that can have him as a team leader completely and is prepared to also allow him to do what he wants. He will be expected to pull his weight in support of others at visma. Unfortunately, that's just not in his personality. He should stick to mountain biking - he can be master of all he surveys and leave the team sports to team players.

Vollering was riding for herself in spite of the nation she represented. Fair enough, let Vos go and follow any attacks. If after that Vos gets swallowed up, you have a chance, but you don't put your own team members to the sword. I am glad she finished off the podium. Totally self centred riding deserves nothing but failure.

Pidcock has a road contract with a road team. It seems very much like he's been given the green light to do what he wants and not what he's contracted to do. He must be laughing all the way to the bank with such a great contract and so little expectation. I wonder if this is the problem Steve Cummings has with him. Narcissistic approach it seems.
