It won't reach Nice with 4 leaders though, it'll be no different to Jumbo with 3 leaders last year, all but one have to yield to the strongest or who has the time buffer within a podium finishing result.

I think he's very aware and confident in his own approach and he doesn't want to turn himself into a that rider he isn't (Wiggins has already discussed this with Tom when at his team I remember). I think it's hard to win Le Tour not using the train + leader approach, because that's pretty much been the template the last 20 years for Tour winning Teams, but I think as we see with Pogacar, if you do have the ability, you can use your Team in a different way and still win without direct leadership, but it's less-guaranteed. Everyone's obstacle at the moment is Pogacar & Vingo regardless of team, you have to stay on their wheels like other had to on Froome's and if you can't, you will never win without others misfortune imo.
