Wout also had 2 teammates in the break as well. The motorbikes covered it very well as Visma attacked Tadej. Tadej responded to each attack and didn't have enough to chase down Wout. I'm sure the tire pressure had everything to do with it as well. It was an awesome bit of cycling to watch live!20:35

Van Art also had 2 teammates in the break as well. They attacked Pogi before Van Art launched his final attack and Pogi covered every one of them. It was awesome to see them work together at such a high speed to take the win.20:28

Limit speed in a race? Why even race then? The only solution I can imagine is a mandatory safety course starting at grass roots. Or, it has to come down to safety equipment. Will there ever be a safe equivalent for cycling like the exploding chaps for motorbikes?13-01-2025 17:53

Yes, Jeannie Longo.. another GREAT, great cyclist. Got to see her race a few times in Chicago where I was racing, mostly. So unbelievably fit when standing next to her competition. With all the doping accusations around that time I only hope it wasn't true for her as well.30-12-2024 00:05

It is so awesome that Voit called attention to Voss' accomplishments. It is simply the fact of her remarkable ability that puts her in the class of Merckx28-12-2024 22:13

It seems more likely Hinault is loosing touch with the reality of racing. Back when he was winning TDF's training was totally different than it is now. So, take his comments with a grain of salt.. as they say.27-11-2024 18:22
