You need to get a life. A podium at any monument is a stellar achievement. Evenepoel is in a very long line of cyclists that came along when an all-time great was in his prime. Vindegaard is experiencing that right now. Evenepoel will win his share of races. The fact that he cannot beat Pogacar, and maybe even Sexias, for the top step doesn't mean he is untalented.17:56

Its simply unbelievable how every time a young cyclist has a great day or shows promise then he's suddenly the next coming of Eddy Merckx. And the comments here from people with no idea what they're talking about. Like a 19 year old with no classics experience is going to challenge the World Tour's No. 1 rider on the No. 1 team. MvdP will retire before age is a factor. The Cipressa simply isn't difficult enough for Pogi's climbing dominance to distance a healthy MvdP. Just how this palmares is. If Pogi ultimately wins without MvdP being in the race he may not take as much pleasure in it.06-02-2026 06:11

Don't blame rising costs on the rider salaries. They deserve everything they can get. The riders ARE the show. The work (training and racing) is grueling and dangerous, and most careers are short. If costs are a big enough issue for the sport, institute a cap like in F1. The drivers' salaries are exempt. This has led to a broader competitive base for the teams.04-01-2026 08:28
