Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen becomes Jonas Vingegaard Hansen, taking the last name of his wife Trine Marie Hansen

Jonas Vingegaard, born as Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, has recently chosen to abandon his last name Rasmussen and took the last name of his wife Trine Marie Hansen.

From now on, the double Tour de France champion will be known as Jonas Vingegaard Hansen, as is already silently confirmed by the UCI website. But cycling fans don't have to worry about learning another name as Danes often drop out their last name in sports and it doesn't seem like the Visma | Lease a Bike star will be any exception.
