Pauline Ferrand-Prévot triumphs in Short Track in Leogang for the first time in Ineos Grenadiers jersey

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot claimed her first victory in the Ineos Grenadiers jersey in a race of short track in Leogang, Austria. Ferrand-Prévot rode very tactically and had most energy stored up for the decisive moment of the race.
"I want to say finally I am here and that I won today. Of course I am very happy. I tried to be smart and not push too much at the start. I just tried to follow, and then I knew that I had to attack with two laps to go. I did it and it worked so I’m really happy today."
"When I saw Puck and Evie together at the front I said okay I have to close the gap. I made it and after that I tried to recover for one or two laps. I said I can’t arrive with Puck at the last climb so I tried to attack her before. I saw that I had a few metres gap, so I just tried to go full gas. It’s still super hard here. The climb didn’t go down! It’s a good win and for sure it’s really good for Sunday."
