- She said that Visma should not allow any of their other riders to try to win stages, specifically Wout van Aert. That's a throwback to Jonas's attitude in 2022 (shown in the Netflix TdF season 1). So there is a big gap now between their thinking.
- Blythe is right. Sounds like Rog just doesn’t want to be at the tour and knows he can’t win so he’s a bit irritated by the question. While his feeling is understandable it’s perhaps a bit too honest as it’s also tempered with his own frustrations. I personally don’t think he’ll podium, but he could target some stages and perhaps win a stage which would be a great success for the team. I’m anxious with all the crashes so far, and the inevitable is he will crash out as usual.
- It's like Milan-Sanremo part 2, IMO, long and tough, with a few uphill sections, made to order for MVDP's sprinting prowess. In Delphinè where he was beaten by Jonas & Tadej in a sprint, Mathieu jokingly said he felt like he was in the wrong weight class.. well, he showed them who was boss now. Jonas was again impressive in 3rd.
- Adam Blythe needs to take a chill pill! Roglic is always like that !
- She knew there was a goal and Jonas has bought into it. I highly doubt Visma was holding a gun to his head forcing him. He's a grown man who could have pulled out and quit cycling at anytime to be a family man and earn a living doing something else. Sacrifices are made in every sport for high level success and cycling isn't immune. He should walk away if that's his priority!
- Maybe your hubby should quite cycling and earning that rich living he is making for you and your children!
- Everybody loves Great Danes.
- I assumed his anger was due to some Bini's incorrect move in the pre-sprint phase (not aired on TV) ... but it seems it was just Johnny's hysterical reaction. Bad.
- Jorgenson made a mistake. He could have ridden to help his team and himself. He said his radio was spotty and he wasn't sure if WVA was still in play. Hopefully he'll get another shot.
- Dang, she needs to figure out how things work in the world, and what to say. Jonas has a great family, and that seems to underpin a lot of his success as an athlete. But there is a reason why family is family, and not in the TwitterDome.
