MrCampy01-06-2026 - I do agree that it’s a harsh penalty , but the rule doesn’t say “6.8 kilos”. It says 6.800 kilos”. It also mentions differences is weights. That means the UCI weighed it multiple times and it failed on all. Saying that it passed at other races doesn’t count. They may have had more sealant in the tires at those races. And this is the root of the problem. If the team is running so close to the limit that a tire burping sealant would cause a DQ, then the team has to take some responsibility.JoeyB01-06-2026
