Giovanni Carboni signs with Equipo Kern Pharma - "It is a new beginning after a difficult period"

After Gazprom-RusVelo was sanctioned, many riders were left teamless, but the situation has somewhat improved. One such rider is Giovanni Carboni, who has found a new home in Equipo Kern Pharma team.

The Italian rider has signed the contract to ride for the team till the end of December 2023. This season has been particularly tough on him, but he still managed to secure the third stage of the Adriatica Ionica Race.

He is grateful to the team for providing him with a chance to race again in major tours. “It is a young formation where I hope to contribute from the beginning. There is a good atmosphere, and they look for the best for the runner in all areas. It is a new beginning after a difficult period,” said Carboni.
