Agree 200%, or maybe just 110% ;-)

It seems unfair to criticize Jonas for basically not being Tadej. Tadej is on a level of his own and very few will meet success by imitating his style of racing. Jonas is a great rider in his own right and lets not forget he has already won two stages with relative ease and will most likely take pink tomorrow

100% - Pogi himself was gracious in defeat. It was - as you identify - the UAE teammates making silly excuses.

Gianetti and Pog praised Wout and didn't make excuses. It's his team-mates who should have been ashamed of giving excuses after they forgot their only reason for being in that race was to support Pog's record attempt.

and look at all the excuses from UAE after Paris Roubaix. "Tadej had a flat tire at the finish" "They didn't wait for us when Tadej had mechanicals" "Wout didn't pull enough" "Wout did a crummy sprint leadout for Tadej". All bu the last one were actual UAE excuses

“I had already won before the start. My family and my second family, my girlfriend's, were here today. I told them all that they had to be here. They are the people who have always supported me, and the fact that I managed to win here as well is something I will take with me forever.” - can't get any better than this, that's beautiful! Complimenti, Alberto!

For sure. If Jonas is under the weather he might be able to capitalize on that tomorrow.

He rode a decent TT and stayed in the lead by 27 seconds. Will he win the GC, we don't know. However, he showed us that he is in good form and riding smart so far.
