Zdenek Stybar eyeing CX Tabor World Cup, begins season this weekend

Zdenek Stybar is a familiar face to Cyclocross and this winter he will be dedicating himself to the discipline. How much it is still to be planned, but his home World Cup race in Tabor will be a big goal.

Stybar, from the Czech Republic, will be starting his off-road season in the Slovak GP Dohnany this weekend. He will be eyeing the UCI World Cup race in Tabor on the 23rd of October, where he shouldn't be a favourite, but can however be an outsider and in interesting figure to keep under the radar.

Stybar will be moving away from Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team this winter and into Team BikeExchange - Jayco where he should have a leading role in the cobbled classics. With the rise of supertalents such as Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock - on the men's side alone - many riders have picked up their cyclocross bike and kept some intensity throughout the winter, across all generations.
