VIDEO: Marie Schreiber wins Parkcross Maldegem in race marked by altercation from two riders

The Parkcross Maldegem is taking place this Wednesday and provides a late-season opportunity for some riders to succeed, in an unusual mid-week spot. The first post-World Championships race was won by Marie Schreiber in the women's side, but the race was marked by an altercation.

Schreiber was the strongest in the day, Luxemoburg's national champion took a convincing victory in Belgium beating Inge van der Heijden and Sara Casasola who completed the podium, although the gaps were not huge.

Manon Bakker and Jinse Peeters were both in the fight for the spots in the Top10 but were both disqualified after a get-together, followed by a small altercation mid-race. Both riders were later removed from the race and opened way for other riders to enter the Top10. You can check the video below:
