UCI announce shortened schedule for the 2024/25 Cyclocross World Cup with four races removed from the calendar

The schedule for the 2024/25 UCI World Cup has been officially announced by the world-governing body for next season, with a reduced number of races on the calendar, as there will no longer be any events held in the United States, which had been a firm fixture over the last couple of seasons.

The number of World Cup events has been reduced from fourteen to twelve, with the races in Waterloo, Val di Sole, Troyes and Flamanville all removed from the calendar, whilst a new race in Oristano on the Italian island of Sardinia has been added to schedule, but is yet to be confirmed. Hoogerheide also returns to the schedule after hosting this year’s Cyclocross World Championships.

The venue for the 2025 Cyclocross World Championships has been announced as well, with the events taking place in Liévin in France 31st January to 2nd February 2025.

Round 1: Antwerp, Belgium - 24th November
Round 2: Dublin, Ireland - 1st December
Round 3: Oristano, Italy (TBC) - 8th December
Round 4: Namur, Belgium - 15th December
Round 5: Hulst, Netherlands - 21st December
Round 6: Zonhoven, Belgium - 22nd December
Round 7: Gavere, Belgium - 26th December
Round 8: Besançon, France - 29th December
Round 9: Dendermonde, Belgium - 5th January
Round 10: Benidorm, Spain - 19th January
Round 11: Maasmechelen, Belgium - 25th January
Round 12: Hoogerheide, Netherlands - 26th January
