Parkcross Maldegem: Annemarie Worst takes first win since November

The 2019-2020 World Cup winner Annemarie Worst returned to her winning ways today at the Parkcross Maldegem.
Seizing the opportunity, with many of the main women in the circuit absent as they prepare for tomorrow's Krawatencross, Worst took her second win in the season, having the other at the World Cup in Koksijde back in November.
Worst, alongside Mannon Bakker and Aniek van Alphen who completed the podium were the strongest from the start. Anna Kay briefly kept up with their pace but struggled getting through some sandy sectors and lost her chance there.
As Worst attacked in the 4th lap through the hard sand sections she was never to be seen again, taking 25 seconds on her rivals and consolidating an important win.
