Enric Mas' 2024 season will come to an end at Il Lombardia next weekend. The
Movistar Team leader will battle for the last time against Tadej Pogacar and co in search of an outstanding result in the last monument of the year, which would round off another solid campaign for the Spaniard, something our colleagues at
Ciclismoaldia have dived into.
Although Mas came into the middle of the season with a lot of criticism for his performance in the Tour de Suisse and the first week of the Tour de France, the 29-year-old managed to pull himself together strongly. Mas finished the Tour de France in good form as a stage-hunter, travelled to the Vuelta a Espana with great confidence and closed the race with a podium in the general classification, staying in the fight for victory until almost the end. Then, rounding off with an 8th place in the World Championship, Mas is now in Italy and looking for the cherry on top, but undoubtedly his 2024 has been, by far, the highlight of
Movistar Team.
