When will we see Tadej Pogacar for the first time in 2025?

Tadej Pogacar completed in 2024 what was probably the best season in the history of cycling, surpassing even the greats of Eddy Merckx in the seventies. After winning, among many other things; Giro, Tour, World Cup, Liège and Lombardia, he now faces the 2025 season searching for another historic campaign in which rivals like Jonas Vingegaard will hope to make it more difficult for him.
So, Tadej will start this new cycling season in the UAE Tour. We imagine that the sponsors of the best team in the world will have put some pressure to have the best cyclist in their lands again after his historic campaign. Before that, Pogi will spend a couple of weeks training in Alicante, specifically in the area of Calpe and Denia, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. He will do it with a teammate of UAE Team Emirates - XRG.
The UAE Tour will take place between 17 and 23 February 2025 and before leaving the Slovenian will spend a few days at home in Monaco. His first big test of the year, his first goal, will come a month after that on March 22 at Milano - Sanremo, the race he wants more than any other to win.
The world's best rider's season will continue with the classics with Tour of Flanders and Liege before tackling the fight for his fourth Tour de France. It is not confirmed, but after last year's Giro-Tour double, it is expected that this year he will try to win the Vuelta a España to complete the triple.

- I just used those two as an example of a sport rivalry, could have chosen any other sport but expected people would understand better if I stayed in cycling. That said, you seem to have misinterpreted what I tried to imply or missed that rivalry altogether. Before those two started turning heads on the road, they have a far more interesting and very long relationship in xc. WVA has paid a heavy price for the move to road cycling but he did put up some amazing performances when things were going right, very often taking one for the team which obviously doesn’t show in statistics.
