Lorenzo Fortunato and his EOLO-Kometa teammates head into the Vuelta a Asturias full of confidence and believing they will be able to challenge for the overall win.
"We want to win the Tour of Asturias, that's the goal. We will try to continue the good work we did in the Tour of the Alps, always with the Giro d'Italia in our sights," Fortunato reveals pre-race. "There are three stages demanding events in Asturias that will help us present ourselves in the best possible shape for the big event of the year."

Fortunato, a winner atop of the Zoncolan in the 2021 Giro d'Italia won't be the only member of his team with big ambitions either as he'll be supported by the likes of Vincenzo Albanese, fresh off the back of a brilliant individual performance at the Giro di Sicilia where he claimed to points classification jersey for the race.
