The Tour of Oman went through its final stage today, which, like the previous stages, was shortened due to poor weather conditions (72 km). The day's winner and winner of the overall classification is theUAE Team Emirates rider Adam Yates. Ben Zwiehoff was the best German rider to finish the overall classification in eleventh place.
However, the BORA - hansgrohe team fell short of expectations, as in an interview with the team after the race sports director Bernhard Eisel said "I can say that we are disappointed today, we definitely expected more. We have to analyze today's stage to find out where we need to improve. The guys have shown a solid performance in the last few days, they are in good, but not yet top form".

"Even if we fell a little short of our expectations, this race was an important step for every rider on the way to their next goals" says Eisel, looking positively to the rest of the season. It remains to be seen how the team will perform in the upcoming races.
