Mathieu van der Poel is under the spotlight wherever he goes, however even when there are not TV cameras around, the fans go delirious with the superstar's presence - which was the case during yesterday's stage 20.
And it was on the Passo Fedaia that the celebrations were the highest amongst the fans, together with fellow countrymen Pascal Eenkhoorn and Bauke Mollema, the Alpecin-Fenix rider had cameras and people running beside him for most of the final ascent; as seen in the videos below.
The Dutchman arrived at the finish 19:29 minutes after Alessandro Covi to the finish line, and is set to complete his first Grand Tour after an ever-active and aggressive performance.
