Wout van Aert has crashed once again. The Team Visma | Lease a Bike rider went down on stage 2 of the race and although he did not suffer meaningful injuries, he should not have a good night of sleep again as on the approach to one of the day's main ascents today on stage 11, he has hit the deck once again.
Racing into the base of the Col de Neronne there was a furious leadout, with narrow roads and a steep climb ahead. Visma had the front of the peloton but Wout van Aert, leading the group, took too many risks and climbed up a sidewalk, crashing. Luckily, it seems as if he avoided any meaningful damage once again.
