The 10th stage of the Vuelta a Espana was the only individual time-trial of the race and it delivered differences as expected. Filippo Ganna has soared to revenge and beat Remco Evenepoel, however the Belgian has gained time on the GC competition.

The Belgian rider won significant time on Jonas Vingegaard, Juan Ayuso and - as expected - Enric Mas. Not race-ending gaps but time that will not be easy to recover. Sepp Kuss has also lost over a minute but minimized the gaps better than initially expected.
