The 2025 season was massive for
Tom Pidcock. After four years at INEOS Grenadiers where the Brit struggled to really find his own place in the team, Pidcock signed for Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling. And in retrospective, that seems to have been a great decision for his career. Pidcock podiumed Strade Bianche, La Fleche Wallonne, and ultimately also the Vuelta a Espana.
No wonder the excitement around the team is enormous heading into 2026 after such a campaign, combined with the plenty strong signings, including Fred Wright, Chris Harper, Eddie Dunbar, Sam Bennett or Quinten Hermans and Brent Van Moer.
It is alongside the Belgian duo and Fabio Christen that Pidcock is
currently on a training camp in Chile. While the focus is naturally on getting some intensive work done, there's always a time for some "extra" activities, as was shown via
Christen's Instagram.
Pidcock's signature move is his unmatched descending ability with which, in races, he can bend the rules of physics to gain an edge over his competitors. And of course he can put those skills to use in various scenarios, including going downhill a mountain trail... on a road bike! Let's just hope the Brit doesn't stretch his luck too far at one point and arrives to his
season debut - Vuelta a la Región de Murcia - in best shape possible.
