A potentially key day in the fight for the Maglia Rosa, the first individual time-trial is underway at the 2024 Giro d'Italia.
Before any riders have even set a time at the finish line, we've already had a rider on the deck too. Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL's Tobias Lund Andresen, who entered the Giro in top form after a very impressive showing at the Tour of Turkey has slipped out on an early corner. Those GC hopefuls still to come will no doubt be watching or will have the information relayed, that this particular corner carries a threat.
