Video: Tadej Pogacar and Rafal Majka decide Slovenia stage win with 'rock-paper-scissors'

The fourth stage of the Tour of Slovenia took the riders 152.4km from Laško to Velika Planina, Rafal Majka finished the line first while Tadej Pogacar joined his teammate with second position.

“I am very happy with this victory.I want to thank Tadej and the whole team. We got through the last climb well knowing that Tadej could do better than everyone here, but he still left me the stage win," the Pole admited after the finish. He and Pogacar went clear on the final climb of the day and had enough lead to comfortably cross the line, even jokingly playing 'rock-paper-scissors' before crossing the line in celebration.

"We have won three stages and we are leaders of the General Classification. Every day we give our best trying to stay in control of the race be as good as we can for Tour de France,” he concluded. . He holds the second position in GC after stage 4 while his teammate Tadej Pogacar is the overall leader in GC, and UAE Team Emirates are unlikely to be shook in the final day of the race.
