VIDEO: Remco Evenepoel's Liege-Bastogne-Liege winning attack on the Côte de la Redoute

Remco Evenepoel claimed a brilliant victory at Liege-Bastogne-Liege thanks to a supreme solo ride to the line that simply blew everyone else out of the water.

The Belgian made his race-winning attack on the Côte de la Redoute for the second successive year, becoming the first rider this century to take victory in back-to-back editions of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. With only Tom Pidcock able to follow Evenepoel for a brief while, the INEOS Grenadiers man was soon ridden of the wheel by the Soudal - Quick-Step leader.

Evenepoel's victory saves Soudal - Quick-Step's spring somewhat after a disappointing period that has seen them lacking the wins they would have wanted.
