VIDEO: Remco Evenepoel uses post-Paris-Nice time wisely to recon Tour de France time-trial route

Despite missing out on the Maillot Jaune at Paris-Nice 2024, Remco Evenepoel ended his first career race on French soil on a high by taking the win in the final stage last Sunday.

Later this summer, the Soudal - Quick-Step leader will target the Tour de France for the first time in his career, where one of the potentially decisive days comes on the final stage. Because of the Olympic Games coming to Paris, the traditional precession on the Champs-Élysées will be replaced by an individual time-trial in Nice.

Seen as Evenepoel was in Nice already, the Belgian decided to use his time wisely and put in some early reconnaissance of the time-trial route, where as the reigning world champion against the clock, Evenepoel will surely be one of the pre-stage favourites.
