VIDEO: Primoz Roglic overcooks corner, but still cooks Evenepoel, Vingegaard, Ayuso and Skjelmose with shockingly strong time-trial at Itzulia Basque Country

Primoz Roglic entered Itzulia Basque Country flying and unfortunately took a wrong turn right by the finish line. However, the BORA - hansgrohe rider still demolished Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard against the clock.

Before the TV broadcast began, the Slovenian had already set his time. Spectator footage shows the Slovenian missing the final corner and losing several seconds.

Nevertheless the provisional results of the time-trial shows a shocking reality in which despite this fatal mistake, Roglic still managed to take a whopping 14 seconds on Remco Evenepoel, 18 seconds on Jonas Vingegaard and 19 on Juan Ayuso. Mattias Skjelmose was the closest contender, 13 seconds off of Roglic after the first line of favourites completed their effort.
