VIDEO | Maxim van Gils crashes whilst celebrating Tour of Norway victory

Maxim van Gils returned to his winning ways yesterday at the Tour of Norway in what was certainly an emotional triumph. However not all went well, as what the TV broadcast did not show at the time was that the Belgian crashed right after the finish line whilst celebrating.
Van Gils beat Matthew Brennan in an uphill sprint and brought in his first win in over three months, in what is his debut season with the German team. As he rode across the finish line, he lost control of the bike and fell only meters after it. Luckily it seemed as if he was not injured from it.

- Too much pressure. This poor, super-talented boy can't "just" be Top 5 in a TT stage without the "experts" starting to question him. What he won in the spring races would be the dream of any pro-cyclist to consider his ENTIRE career successful... Let him alone.
