The fight for the Maillot Jaune has ignited once again on stage 14 of the 2024 Tour de France. After criticism of UAE Team Emirates over the recent days, the team seems to have played a blinder on stage 14.
With Adam Yates attacking on the early slopes of the Pla d'Adet, Pogacar waited until around 5km to go to launch a blistering attack to bridge the gap to the back wheel of his right hand man. Neither Jonas Vingegaard or Remco Evenepoel were able to follow immediately and with 4.4km to go, the UAE Team Emirates duo caught and passed lone leader Ben Healy with the hunt for a stage win also on the cards.

- Pointless reporting. They are rivals, each tries their way to get their best result, with or without collaboration. As long as it’s all fair, why even report riders feelings about such stuff (yes I know, lack of other news).
