VIDEO: Fan footage shares unseen images of Egan Bernal's Giro d'Italia time trial crash

Egan Bernal had looked strong over the first nine stages of the 2025 Giro d'Italia, positioning himself right in the mix for the final podium. After a disappointing individual time trial on stage 10 however, the Colombian national champion now sits outside the top 10 in the general classification.
The reason for his big time loss against the clock was a nasty crash on the wet and slippery roads. After finishing his time trial, Bernal told the media: "Well, I crashed at the beginning, so I think it’s kind of normal, right? But yeah, it was tough, obviously. Same for everyone, and I think it was super slippery. Honestly, I don’t even know what time I did, so I can’t say much."
Although TV cameras didn't capture any images of Bernal hitting the deck, fan footage has now been posted online, showing the INEOS Grenadiers star sliding out hard as he rounded a bend. See the images for yourself in the video down below!

However, I think the new name is a bit of a mouthful, but abbreviations are out of the question. If you wanted to keep it as close as possible to the original it'd be Critérium du Auvegne-Rhône-Alpes (I'm not sure if that's correct)... which is even more of a mouthful. - Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe need to take Lipowitz to the tour as a co-leader. Taking into account Lipowitz's performances and Roglič's tendency to crash out, it's not an option to sacrifice Lipowitz should Roglič be in trouble. Lipowitz beat Evenepoel by a significant margin in the Critérium du Dauphiné - I think he can fight for the podium.
