VIDEO: Elite Cycling shares documentary made on young fan who received bidon from Tadej Pogacar at Giro d'Italia

Cycling's essence comes a lot from how much fans can interact with the riders, on and off the road. Tadej Pogacar won the Giro d'Italia back in May, a very dominant and popular win, made extra special for extra gestures such as the bidon he took from a soigneur on Monte Grappa (stage 20) and immediately gave to a young fan on the side of the road. Elite Cycling, sponsor of the team, invited young Mattia Scaldaferro to the Tour de France.

The 9-minute video shares the story of the young boy, an active and passionate cycling himself. Elite invited him to the Grand Depart that took place in Florence and onto the team bus. He met much of the team staff, the soigneur who gave the bottle and also Pogacar himself.
