Egan Bernal is back on the road training near his home in Colombia less than two months after his life-threatening accident. The Colombian is said to be motivated and working to make a return to racing, with the best estimates being at the end of this season or the start of 2023.
In an Instagram video recorded by Team Illuminate's Camilo Castilblanco, he has tagged and recorded footage of Egan Bernal out on his bike with a few riding companions. This comes a few weeks after he got back on a static bike, and after some rehabilitation the Colombian is seemingly ready to be on the road and getting some base form.

Bernal's coach has said recently that "he's working to come back as soon as possible. It can be in 2023, but it can also be at the end of this year" and also that "as long as there's faith, everything is possible."
