The sixth round of UCI World Cup action this winter took place on Sunday afternoon in Flamanville with both Lucinda Brand and Eli Iserbyt triumphing in their respective races.

For Brand, it was a second successive triumph following her victory the weekend prior in Dublin. The former World Champion continued her impressive return to cyclocross action this winter with a dominant performance, with Marie Schreiber and Leonie Bentveld completing the podium.

In the men's race, Iserbyt had to overcome the odds as he was faced with Baloise - Trek Lions trio Pim Ronhaar, Lars van der Haar and Joris Nieuwenhuis in the battle for the win. Another thing the Belgian had to battle was a pair of ducks that'd found their way onto the course and threatened to cause havoc.
