Boring transitional stage this was not! Stage 19 of the 2023 Tour de France was more like a Tour of Flanders than something you'd expect to see in the third week of cycling's most famous race.
Once again the breakaway took the victory and for the second straight day, Kasper Asgreen was involved in a three-up sprint to the line for the stage win. Although he was victorious on stage 18, it would be Matej Mohoric who prevailed on stage 19, edging out Asgreen in a photo-finish finale to a dramatic day of racing.
