UPDATE: Molano relegated from Tour de Langkawi after "shove", Wiggins wins stage 2 sprint

Team UAE Emirates rider Juan Sebastián Molano has won the second stage of the Tour de Langkawi. He was the fastest in the final sprint and took the stage victory. Its is his third victory of the season.

The breakaway included Jambaljamts Sainbayar and Nur Aiman Zariff (Terengganu Polygon), Didier Munayeza (Pro Touch), Andy Royan (Mula), Ratchanon Yaowarat (Thailand CT), Nik Zulkifli (Malaysia) and Marco Lumanog (Philippines). The group worked together and increased the lead to over 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

The breakaway was caught in the fial 10 kilometers. It was a chaotic sprint and Juan Sebastián Molano was the best and crossed the finish line first to take the stage victory. Craig Wiggins finished second while previous stage winner Gleb Syritsa took bronze.

However, after the stage the commissaires have studied the available footage and have seen Molano shove a rider inside the final kilometers - in similarity to behaviour shown earlier in the year. The UAE Team Emirates rider has been relegated and removed of his triumph, with Wiggins being awarded with the win.
