Juan Sebastián Molano and Hugo Page were involved in a spat during the sixth stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné in which the UAE Team Emirates rider smacked the French sprinter and was consequently disqualified after the stage.
Molano finished first from the peloton on the day, but was disqualified as a consequence of the event. However, further footage revealed the two involved in a heated argument after the stage in which Molano once again smacked the Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux rider's helmet, before the riding away visibly emotional.

Although being disqualified from the race, all across social media some fans call for a suspension of the Colombian sprinter after the behaviour. The story is sure to have a continuation in the coming days.
He said "I'd like to apologise to Hugo Page and to all the riders for what happened" after the stage, however it is unclear if that was before or after he told journalist Daniel Friebe that "it’s not the first time I’ve had problems with this guy at the race. I’m sorry but I’d had it up to here with him."
