Trofeo Mateotti & GP Fourmies results | Isaac del Toro with ANOTHER win; Paul Magnier sprints to French classic win

This Sunday is a big cycling day, with two World Tour events - the Vuelta a España and GP de Montréal, the XCO World Championships and two smaller-level races in France. However, both of these, the GP de Fourmies and the Trofeo Mateotti, have had high-level winners.

In Italy it was Isaac del Toro who took the victory, his fourth in the space of two weeks in Italy, where he has been netting wins left and right. This was the 84th win for UAE Team Emirates - XRG this year, who are now only 1 away from the record.

The Italian this time around could not manage to take a solo win, but did not depend on it either. In the hilly race, the Mexican was part of a small group that sprinted for victory, where he beat Rui Costa and Pau Miquel to the line.

Meanwhile in France, the sprinters had a shot today at the GP Fourmies, where Soudal - Quick-Step managed to raise their arms as Paul Magnier won the bunch sprint to take his first win since the Tour de Pologne, beating Pavel Bittner and Yevgeniy Fedorov to the line.
