INEOS Grenadiers come to their home
Tour of Britain with a stacked lineup looking for victory. They have several contenders for victory, including Magnus Sheffield who returns to competition several months after a very bad crash.
This was a crash at the Tour de Suisse, where in the same spot Gino Mäder lost his life. At the time in the descent of the Albulapass Magnus Sheffield crashed and suffered a concussion. Two and a half months later, after a lengthy recovery period, he's returning to action in Britain. He'll likely have a domestique role as he gets his race rhythm back, alongside
Luke Rowe and
Connor Swift.
Meanwhile
Ben Turner should have the freedom to chase results in the final two hilly days, where the team expect good performances of Carlos Rodríguez and
Tom Pidcock. The duo, who thrived at the Tour de France each, will hope to find their best legs, and will both be prime contenders for the GC win.
