The Dutch sprinter has been absent from yesterday's sprint, however today he won the second stage of the Tour de Hongrie with his traditional dominance. Fabio Jakobsen has gotten his seventh win of the season.
This came in a day where splits were observed in the peloton throughout the day, the 192-kilometer long stage saw a lot of action but the result was the expected as Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team had the riders to lead Jakobsen out, who took the win on the line. Rudy Barbier and Sasha Weemaes completed the podium, taking advantage of the reduced group.
