The 2026 Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes classifications will evolve across eight days of racing, from the opening stage in Vizille to the final summit finish at Plateau de Solaison. Every climbing test, sprint opportunity, breakaway move and team time trial has the potential to reshape the fight for the race lead and the other jersey competitions.

General Classification Standings after Stage 5

Alex Baudin retained the Maillot Jaune after stage 5 of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with no changes inside the top 25 overall following Wout van Aert’s sprint victory in Villars-les-Dombes. Kevin Vauquelin and Oscar Onley remain second and third at 12 seconds, while Matteo Jorgenson stays fourth at 15 seconds. Juan Ayuso and Mattias Skjelmose complete the top six, both at 47 seconds.
Carlos Rodriguez remains eighth at 57 seconds, with Leo Bisiaux ninth at 59 seconds and Paul Seixas tenth at one minute for Decathlon CMA CGM Team. Isaac del Toro stays 14th at 1:16, while Santiago Buitrago remains 17th at 1:21.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 5

Nadav Raisberg strengthened his lead in the points classification after stage 5, moving to 52 points. Henri-Francois Renard-Haquin climbed five places to second on 38 points, with Raul Garcia Pierna third on 34. Hugo Hofstetter was the biggest mover inside the top 10, jumping 18 places to sixth on 28 points. Stage 5 winner Wout van Aert moved into the top 10 on 20 points.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 5

Clement Braz Afonso retained the lead in the mountains classification after stage 5 of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with no changes inside the top 10. The Groupama - FDJ United rider remains on 17 points, three clear of Alex Baudin, while Benjamin Thomas stays third on 12 points ahead of Cofidis team-mate Sergio Samitier on 11.

Alex Baudin retained the youth classification lead after stage 5 of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with no changes inside the top 10. Kevin Vauquelin and Oscar Onley remain second and third at 12 seconds, while Juan Ayuso stays fourth at 47 seconds. Decathlon CMA CGM Team continue to have two riders inside the top eight, with Leo Bisiaux seventh at 59 seconds and Paul Seixas eighth at one minute.
