AlUla Tour will be a great opportunity for
Tim Merlier to start the 2024 in style as the Middle East race offers two to three chances for sprinters. Merlier can rely on support of his Belgian leadout
Bert Van Lerberghe. Besides Merlier, Van Lerberghe and
Martin Svrcek, the lineup includes four debutants in the Soudal - Quick-Step jersey.
"We are going to Saudi Arabia with a solid team. The guys are excited to start their season and we hope for some nice results there. Tim is our leader and he will try, supported by a strong lead-out, to be in the mix on the flat. We’re also eager to see our new guys in action, it will be a good test for them," is the opinion of sports director Davide Bramati.
