Tadej Pogacar made the news in a less positive way on Friday afternoon. The 25-year-old Slovenian flew to the United Arab Emirates for a day at the expense of his team and had a rest day on his bike in the desert.
Images that he himself posted on Instagram show the two-time Tour winner cycling around on his Colnago bike, posing with some fans and ending his day indoors on the reels on Zwift. "Do you also travel to UAE just for one rest day?" Pogacar asked his Instagram fans lightheartedly.

"No, I'm worried about climate change," one of his infuriated fans responded. "Don't brag about pollution," someone else urged. The Slovenian phenomen himself didn't react to the wave of critcism so far, but one thing is certain - that he should probably be more considered with his future posts.
